Diagnostics
In our radiology department, we are able to carry out x-rays and ultrasound scans with accurate reportage to ensure correct diagnosis. Other diagnostic procedures we carry out include; Electrocardiograms; Spirometry (an evaluation of lung function); We perform Urinalyses; Urine Cultures; Throat cultures; Blood glucose tests; Pregnancy tests; Stool occult blood tests and other selected tests.
Orthopedics & Trauma
Orthopedic surgeons deal with traumatic injuries to the bones and joints and diseases of the skeleton. At MUJE Hospital, we provide both comprehensive elective (planned) and emergency services.
Our team consists of Medical Officers, Residents, and a visiting Consultant Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon with vast expertise in emergency responses and procedures. They are supported by a team of experienced Nurses and paramedical staff
Pediatrics
At MUJE Hospital, we provide high quality and affordable care to children and adolescents and this is a top priority. This level of care has been ensured by a team of highly trained medical, nursing and paramedical staff who are experts in caring for sick babies and older children. Taking care of these little ones in a child friendly environment is one of the passions of the clinical team, comprising of experienced Pediatricians and nurses.
Pharmacy
The Pharmacy Department oversees medication procurement, storage, dispensing, and utilization throughout MUJE Hospital. Pharmacy staff play an important role in providing drug information to both healthcare professionals and patients.
The department is well-staffed with pharmacists, interns, and technicians who work together to ensure patients receive the highest quality pharmaceutical care possible.
Surgery
At MUJE hospital, we have a fully equipped theatres and trained theatre practitioners, technicians, nurses, surgeons and anesthetists who ensure that cases are done safely and efficiently. We are fully aware that “safe surgery saves lives”
